The Robotech Masters do not have dedicated fighter aircraft as the majority of their combat missions are performed by Bioroid mecha. What aerospace craft they do have are used in support of Bioroid activity.

The Bioroid Hoversled functions as a flight platform granting greater mobility to Bioroid mecha and permitting them to engage in aerospace combat. Though lightly armored the antigravity sleds are extremely maneuverable and can easily match most modern air and space fighters in agility if not in speed.

The Assault Dropship is part of a family of corvette-type vessels used by the Robotech Masters. The Dropship is used primarily as a Bioroid carrier, transporting mecha forces to the battlefield and remaining on station as a command and control platform. The use of the corvette as a forward command base became a strategic liability early in the war as attacks against the Dropship risked eliminating the Clone Masters controlling the Bioroid troops, forcing the entire mecha group to retreat whenever the ship came under heavy fire. This problem was largely eliminated once the Robotech Masters began fielding more autonomous Bioroid troops. Despite its size, the Assault Dropship was also effective in aerospace combat and a single corvette was considered a match for an entire United Earth fighter squadron.

Spacecraft

The Robotech Masters arrived at Earth with all that remained of their once mighty space fleet. Though far more powerful and advanced than anything the UEG could field, the Robotech Masters fleet was severely hampered by their dwindling supply of Protoculture, which denied them the use of their most powerful weaponry. Nonetheless, by the end of the war the Robotech Masters had destroyed most of Earth's solar system-based space fleet.

The giant Tirolian Mothersips are microcosms to the society of the Robotech Masters. Each massive vessel contains everything that is needed for the continuation of Tirolian civilization. In addition to extensive engineering and manufacturing facilities, as well as bio-engineering and medical capabilities, each mothership contains an entire city, inhabited by civilian clones of the original Tirolian populace.

By far the most powerful spacecraft known, in addition to their ample offensive weaponry Tirolian Mothersips possess other advanced features like a reactionless drive system for sub-light travel, pin-point and full barrier defensive shields and ample hangar and drydock facilities that can hold several different types of spacecraft, up to and including the large Tirolian Heavy Cruisers.

The Tirolian Heavy Cruiser is the most heavily armed vessel of its size. Sturdy and powerful, these craft were at the forefront of the Robotech Masters' fleet engagements. Heavy Cruisers were responsible for a large percentage of the losses incurred by United Earth forces in space and on the ground. They were also frequently used in attacks on urban centers and it was a Heavy Cruiser that was responsible for the destruction of the SOuthern Cross Headquarters building in Monument City at the close of the war.

The Tirolian Transport is the workhorse of the Robotech Masters fleet. During the Second Robotech War these craft were used as a mecha and troop carrier, picket vessels and cargo carriers.

Military Equipment

Tirolian elite soldiers are referred to as Terminators and are equipped with advanced weapons and armor. Later in the Second Robotech War the Robotech Masters would be employing more conventional, less well-equipped infantry.

Body Armor

The elite security forces and personal guard of the Robotech Masters are equipped with the advanced Bioroid Terminator armor. This armor is heavier and stronger than the body armor used by the Army of the Southern Cross, but also augments the wearer's strength and reflexes, enhancing the Terminator's combat ability. Conventional infantry soldiers and Bioroid pilots do not typically wear body armor.

Weapons

The Bioroid Terminators carry a heavy laser assault weapon, one powerful enough to easily penetrate Southern Cross body armor and even capable of damaging mecha-scale opponents. Regular infantry are equipped with similar-looking but lighter and less powerful laser assault rifles. In addition to these standard weapons the Robotech Masters armed forces also have access to smaller laser pistols as well as a supply of portable rocket launchers.
